I enjoy weight training, biking and walking as some of my exercise activities. As we get older, it seems we have to work twice as hard, to get half of the results as we did when we were younger. So, fitness is a main part of my life.

In addition to my fitness activities, a couple of my hobbies are reading, movies, and the computer. I am a BIG Jimmy Buffett fan (a.k.a. Parrothead). Please check out my Parrothead homepage.

I have two grown children and am very proud of them. My daughter, Denise, is married, lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. My son, Michael, lives in Sylva, North Carolina. We have a a cat named Tux who adopted us in North Carolina in 1998.

My daughter, Denise, and son-in-law, Ken, have three daughters. The youngest was born January 17, 2008. I really enjoy being a grandmother.

We moved to Knoxville, TN in 2005. Denise & Ken had decided to move there, but it didn't work out as planned. We just moved back to Palm Beach Gardens on New Year's Eve day, 2007. Now, we live closer than we did when we lived in Jupiter. It is wonderful living only five minutes away from them.

I am enjoying my retirement! I sold my internet/home-based business the end of August of 2007, just in time to take a vacation with my daughter and granddaughters. At that point, I decide we were ready to move back here and then put our townhouse on the market in Knoxville.

I still do some web design and have a few things going online, but it is a joy not to be working 15+ hour days anymore for my business. I especially enjoy the extra time I have for reading!
